Things To Keep In Mind
Yoga is noncompetitive and does not conflict with Western religion.
Practicing Yoga on an empty stomach is best, at least 2 hours following a full meal.
Practicing Yoga with a clear mind and body is also best: Refrain from smoking for at least 3 hours before class, and refrain from alcohol consumption for at least 12 hours before class.
Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing that allows you to breathe and move easily, and no perfumes or lotions, please.
Each Yoga class has a beginning, middle, and end. Please arrive 5 minutes early and plan to stay for the entire class.
Turn cell phones off before entering the studio.

The “Core” symbolizes the center of one's being. Everything emanates out from the core. Having a strong core means more then just a physically strong core. It is that feeling of being connected and at peace with yourself. When you can be in that place of awareness and acceptance you can radiate wellness and good to those around you. Just “being” is enough…..
Healing begins here in your core….first becoming aware of what it is that is draining you. What do you get from staying connected and attached to this person, situation or thing? Often times we sacrifice ourselves and allow ourselves to stay in our current state of madness just to avoid being alone.
For to be alone is to be with yourself. If you are disconnected from your true “self” then this can be undesirable. Not because you are bad, but because you don’t know who this person is and what it has to offer you. May sound boring to some. Let me assure you that no thing, no one can provide such calm peace and tranquility then your true self!!!
Finding this connection to your core will help you on your jouney of life. It will be a place where you can reside comfortably, able to find truth and peace when all other things are chaotic and uncertain.
I work with people of all ages , backgrounds, socio-economic levels and situations in becoming more connected and accepting of oneself. In turn feeling a better sense of wellbeing. I believe in the mind body connection and feel you need to move your body to do positive things with it (everyone is different in their choice of activity). In turn your mind chatters less, easing it and allowing it to become quiet so one can experience the connection to their self. Resulting in a stronger core!
Every client is different, therefore I customize each whole body session accordingly. I feel that you should take time learning the skills and habits you need to start the healing process and then take them with you to utilize on your journey of life. Knowing that I am always here if you need me... but you will have the strength to carry on... in peace with your “self”
